Do Your Homework While Investing in Renewable Energy

Join GEO to hear Ohio Farm Bureau Federation’s Energy Expert Dale Arnold discuss how advances in technology have made renewable energy equipment, particularly for solar and wind, more practical than it was just five to 10 years ago.

Farm, small business and residential energy consumers looking to invest in this technology need to think the same way as they would when purchasing a major piece of farm equipment or real estate.

GEO Hosts PV Certification Training Near Cincinnati
At Melink Corporation on May 11-15, 2015
The weather was ideal, the class was full and the facility was perfect as GEO hosted its second annual photovoltaic training course at the Melink facility located in Milford near Cincinnati, Ohio.
The 5-day training course is designed for individuals with little or no experience in photovoltaics, and prepares them with the skills necessary to design and install a typical residential PV system. In addition, on the final day of the course students can sit for the Electronic Technicians Association (ETA) Photovoltaic Level 1 certification examination.  Instruction was provided by Jay Warmke, GEO vice president and owner of Blue Rock Station, a 40-acre sustainability center located south of Zanesville, OH. Warmke has taught at various colleges and vocational schools around the nation, served as chair of the national SkillsUSA sustainability contest, is author of a number of sustainability books and textbooks, was named GEO's Pioneer of the Year in 2011, and was named ETA's Educator of the Year in 2013. Let GEO know if you are interested in helping us bring this training to your part of Ohio, contact See details on May 11-15 GEO Solar PV Training - CLICK HERE.
