2005 Ohio Solar Tour Doubles Expectations with 2,000 Visits Across the State
Connecting Ohioans with practical information on clean energy technologies, services and products is the goal of the Ohio Solar Tour held every first Saturday in October. As the Ohio ASES chapter, GEO conducted the 2005 Ohio Solar Tour on Saturday, October 1, 2005 featuring over 160 sites with solar, wind, biomass, green design and other sustainable features. Hundreds of people took the clean energy journey in Ohio on 21 tours with a record of 2,000 visits - doubling expectations. For the third year, GEO published the Ohio Solar Tour Guidebook that included tour information and articles on clean energy.
