Session 1

Municipal Microgrids: The What and the Why

The citizens and businesses that live and operate in our communities are all facing rising energy costs due to increasing demand on our already stressed electric grid. It is important for municipalities to take control of energy use and availability - microgrid energy systems built on and for your facilities offer that opportunity. In this one hour session, we will be discussing what a microgrid is and does for your community, and how a microgrid provides a stack of values in resiliency, savings, and security.
